The 2024 Total Archery Challenge (TAC) at Terry Peak, SD, was an incredible experience that we’ll be reminiscing about for years to come. From the excitement of the event to the camaraderie among archery enthusiasts, it was a weekend packed with unforgettable moments, fantastic gear, and new friendships.
Gear Galore: One of the highlights of the weekend was undoubtedly the amazing gear we acquired. The team at Knocked On hooked us up with top-notch releases that enhanced our shooting performance. Tyler was particularly thrilled to get outfitted with a new sight, stabilizer, and side bar, all of which made a significant difference in his accuracy and overall experience. We were also grateful for our trusty BowHitch attachments, which made hiking through the mountainous terrain with our bows much easier and more comfortable.
Meeting Legends: Friday was a special day as we got to meet the legendary Chris Bee. Not only did we get to chat with him and his crew, but we also had the opportunity to gift them some Outdoorsman’s Oath merchandise. The day culminated in Chris Bee’s after-party, where Erik won a stylish hat and Tyler was ecstatic to win free TAC passes for 2025!
Saturday Night Celebrations: Saturday night was another highlight, as we attended the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF) after-party. The atmosphere was electric with excitement and anticipation. Tyler was lucky enough to win a high-quality set of lightweight Gerber knife and saw, perfect for future hunting trips. Erik was delighted to win handcrafted RMEF elk calls, adding a unique and valuable item to his hunting gear collection.
Making Memories: Throughout the event, we were surrounded by fellow archery enthusiasts, making new friends and reconnecting with old ones, including our homies from North Dakota. The Total Archery Challenge was not just about the shooting; it was about the community, the shared passion for archery, and the memories made along the way.
